Trivia[]
- Woolly's Series 5 puppet was later sold online on The Prop Gallery website.
- In Woolly's first appearance in the fifth series, Woolly is referred as male, however in the sixth series, Woolly is refered to as female and is the mother of Lambykins. While it could be argued that the fifth series and the CGI series are not canon to each other, it is possible that everyone first assumed that Woolly was male until she gave birth to Lambykins, and it was then they realised she was female (a common mistake in popular culture).
- The only character that refers to Woolly as a female in the fifth series is Sarah in Danger Falling Sheep. However, she refers to Woolly as male in Beast of Pontypandy.
- In the sixth series episode Sheep on the Road, when Sam and Elvis see Woolly near the fence, Sam refers to Woolly as female, but when he drops Woolly off at The Cut Price Store, he refers to Woolly as male.
