Trivia[]
- This is the final episode where the line "Now who needs the Fire Service?" is used.
- As the twins enter Sam's living room, the picture seen on the hallway wall is the picture of Sam and the twins in front of Jupiter, seen on Sam's bedside table in the intro.
- This is one of two episodes Trevor is seen in both his civilian clothes and his firefighter uniform. The other being Steele Under Par.
- At one point in Australia, this episode was only available on the ABC for Kids compilation VHS, Favourites, until Trevor's Boot Sale was re-released in 2000 with this episode replacing the Series 2 episode Sam's Day Off on that tape.
- Recording date: March 28, 1994.
- This episode along with Norman's Tricky Day, Chemistry Set, The Wishing Well, Dilys' Forgetful Day and The Big Freeze were the only episodes to be not added on BBC iPlayer in November 2020.
Goofs[]
- When Trevor says "Where's the brakes?" he has Elvis' voice.
- Mr. Steele says "Well, into the building." in a much higher voice.
- Sam says "Are you enjoying yourself, kids?". Grammatically, Sam should have said "Are you enjoying yourselves, kids?".
- When rescuing Trevor from the basket, Sam decides to execute an odd maneuver over the low wall known as a 'Gate Roll ' while getting onto the tower. This move is as unnecessary as it is dangerous in such a delicate situation at such a height.
- Norman switches between being right handed and left handed when holding his cap gun.
- It is shown in other episodes that Sam lives next door to the left of Trevor. However, when Norman goes to apologise, the door to the left is blue instead of Sam's red.
