The controversial scene
- On July 26th, 2016, due to a small bit of controversy in the scene where Elvis Cridlington trips over a piece of paper with a page of the Quran on it, HiT Entertainment stated that they would no longer be working with Xing Xing. As a result of the controversy, it gained headlines in newspapers across the UK, with 1000 complaints recieved by the BBC; these complaints however were forwarded to Channel 5 which currently airs the series on British television.
- It was at first thought that this episode would have to be removed from circulation, but instead was edited to show Elvis Cridlington just slipping on a blank piece of paper, so the television networks were still able to broadcast it. However, it was left uncensored in the US dub.
