Titan

Titan is the Ocean Rescue Centre's fireboat. It was introduced in Series 9.

Description

Like all fireboats, Titan has the same functions on water as a fire engine on land. It is piloted by Ben Hooper and is chiefly useful for putting out fires that are accessible from the sea and other bodies of water. Rather than using a water tank, it puts out fires by pumping some of the water on which it is piloted.

Titan has a sonar which can be used to locate lost people, as seen in The Return of Norman-Man. Titan is housed in the Ocean Rescue Centre, along with Neptune and Juno.
