The Return of Norman-Man is the 25th and last episode of Series 9. It was written by Laura Beaumont and Paul Larson.
Plot[]
Norman and James play at being superheroes Norman-Man and Atomic Boy. When Lion the cat floats away in a boat, the pair realise they've got a real rescue to carry out.

- The last episode to feature Joe Marth voicing Chief Fire Officer Boyce for US Dub before his death on June 3, 2015. Dave McRae took over the role in Series 10.

- Trevor says that the underwear Norman is wearing on his superhero costume are his. However, they are the same pair that Norman took from his home in The New Hero Next Door.
- When Titan and Wallaby 1 are travelling to the fire, Bessie is missing.
- Sarah and James refer to their Uncle Sam as "Fireman Sam" several times.
- When the team are going to save Norman at the beginning, the Training Tower is missing
