The fourth series of Fireman Sam (known as the third series in the Welsh language) first aired in the UK in both Welsh and English languages in 1994 and in Australia in 1995.

From 1994-1995, The English dub of the series was released across two VHS tapes by BBC Video in the United Kingdom.
The episode Home from Rome was featured on the UK compilation DVD and VHS "Action Stations!" released in May 2004.
Later, The entire English dub of the series was released on DVD in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand under the title "Rich and Famous".
