From 1988-1989, The English dub of the series (in addition to the Snow Business special) was released across two VHS tapes by BBC Video in the United Kingdom.
The episodes Treasure Hunt, Sam's Day Off, Thief in Pontypandy, Chemistry Set, The Wishing Well and The Great Inventor were featured on the UK compilation DVD and VHS "Action Stations!" released in May 2004.
Later, The entire English dub of the series was released on DVD in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand under the title "Treasure Hunt".

Trivia[]
- The episodes "Treasure Hunt", "Sam's Day Off", "Thief in Pontypandy", and "Chemistry Set" were released on VHS before they were broadcast on BBC One.
- In the Welsh language, Series 2 is considered part of Series 1, meaning that Series 3 is Series 2, and Series 4 is Series 3.
- This is the last series in the "classic series" to be dubbed in Dutch. It would later be dubbed in Dutch in Series 5-present.
