Fireman Sam Wiki

S4C (from the Welsh language Sianel Pedwar Cymru, meaning "Channel Four Wales") is the name of the original television network in Wales where Fireman Sam first aired in September 15, 1987.

S4C owned the Fireman Sam series, and distributed it through their S4C International subsidiary. In December 2001, S4C sold 50% of the franchise to Gullane Entertainment, who were purchased by HiT Entertainment the following year. HIT took over international distribution rights while S4C retained Welsh distribution. In 2007, HiT Entertainment acquired S4C's remaining stake in Fireman Sam, taking over full ownership.
