Rocky Rescue is the 16th episode of Series 9. It was written by Simon Nicholson.

Plot[]

Moose is leading a "Rock Spotting Trip" tour group, which includes Sarah, James, Lily, their parents, and Trevor, up Pontypandy Mountain. The children are specifically told not to feed the animals, but Sarah and Lily ignore this rule and start feeding a small sheep, which they name "Lambykins".

As the tour continues, Sarah and Lily become distracted and wander off the main path while following the sheep. They soon find themselves in a dangerous predicament, trapped along the rocky edges of the mountain.

Fireman Sam and his team are called to the scene. Tom uses a winch to reach the stranded girls. Lily is successfully rescued using the winch, while Sarah manages to find her own way up the cliffs, making her way along the coast. Fireman Sam advises them on the importance of staying on the designated paths and being aware of their surroundings when exploring the mountains.
