Pontypandy Island
Pontypandy Island is a small isle a fair bit off from the mainland.

It was said by Sam that he and Charlie used to visit the island and play explorers when they were children.
The Island was first introduced in Series 9 episode Escape From Pontypandy Island. Trevor was taking the Pontypandy Pioneers to the island whilst they were trying to see who was the best explorer. They're skiff floated away and they became castaways, however James knowing what to do made some smoke signals using Trevor's fire pit however while waiting to be rescued Norman overloaded the fire and a bush caught fire spreading to a tree, help arrived and the fire was put out. Since then the island has made several appearances.
