- This is one of only four episodes where Fireman Sam is seen driving Jupiter alone in Series 5 apart from in the intro, the others being Deep Water, Beast of Pontypandy and Mummy's Little Pumpkin.
- This episode reveals how the station door is opened during the response sequences: via a button on Jupiter's dashboard. Fireman Sam pushes it when returning to the station at the beginning of this episode, which opens the station door allowing him to drive Jupiter inside.
