Norman's Ghost is the twelfth episode of the seventh season. It was written by Mellie Buse and Jan Page.
Plot[]
Norman Price's mischievous antics during Halloween lead to a dangerous situation. To win the "spooking competition" at the Flood family's party, Norman comes up with a plan to create a scary ghost. He places a sheet over a lit jack-o'-lantern, hoping to create a frightening effect for James and Sarah. Norman, however, fails to understand the serious fire risk of his prank. He believes his trickery makes him the "ghost of Pandy," declaring himself "unspookable" as he continues his mischief.
The trouble begins when Norman's seemingly harmless Halloween stunt escalates into a serious fire. After covering the lit pumpkin, he leaves it unattended while he continues his spooky pranks. The cloth, made to look like a ghost, catches fire from the candle inside, and the blaze quickly spreads to the Flood's home. Norman's pranking gets out of hand and threatens the safety of everyone enjoying the Halloween festivities. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable consequences of playing with fire and the importance of fire safety awareness.
As the fire spreads, the Pontypandy fire brigade, led by Fireman Sam, is called to the scene. The firefighters arrive quickly to tackle the blaze at the Flood's house, and Sam's team works to contain the fire caused by Norman's misguided prank. During the emergency, Norman realizes the gravity of his actions and feels guilty for causing the fire. He apologizes for his carelessness, accepting responsibility for the dangerous situation.
The episode concludes with Norman learning a crucial lesson about fire safety and the consequences of his actions.
