Lizzie Sparkes is the wife of Joe Sparkes and the mother of Hannah Sparkes. She is the village's veterinary surgeon and part of the Volunteer Search and Rescue team.

She debuted in All At Sea with her family in a non-speaking cameo.
Her first speaking role came in The Pontypandy Cup.
As of Series 10, she now runs the Pontypandy Veterinary Practice.
