- This is the last and only time of some things:
- This episode marks the last of a few things:
- The last episode of Series 5, and also the very last stop-motion episode of Fireman Sam to be produced.
- The last episode to feature Dusty.
- The last episode with Jupiter bearing an old front end. As of Series 6, it has a bumper from the Volvo FL6 and a lower front end of the Dennis Sabre.
- Elvis is seen pushing a green button marked with a black arrow pointing up on the turntable control panel. What the button does is unknown. He has only pushed the button two other times in Firefighter of Tomorrow and Norman's Invisible Friend, though Sam has previously in Fiery Finale.
- Trevor's line, "very funny." was reused from Fields of Fire.
- Tom's response footage is unique to this episode due to a change of weather, all other episodes featuring him reuse the same footage from Danger Falling Sheep. However the shot of Wallaby 1 rising into frame, turning and flying off screen was reused from previous episodes.
Goofs[]
- Tom Thomas takes off in Wallaby 1 without putting on his glasses first; yet is seen with them on later, although it is possible he had them in his pocket and simply put them on while in flight.
