Hot Air is the twenty-third episode of the sixth series.
Plot[]
Trevor Evans prepares to take the children on a trip up Pontypandy Mountain on a sweltering day, but his bus is overheating. Despite Fireman Sam's warnings, Trevor stubbornly insists the bus is fine and proceeds with the trip. The children are eager to see a rare peregrine falcon, but their excitement is cut short when the bus engine begins to smoke and eventually catches fire on the mountain's winding roads.
Trapped on the mountain, Trevor and the children are in a dangerous situation. The Pontypandy fire brigade is called and races to the scene to extinguish the blaze. Sam and his team work quickly to rescue everyone and put out the flames, teaching an important lesson about listening to safety advice, especially when dealing with old vehicles and hot weather.
