The ambulance car slightly resembles a Smart Fortwo Mk1.

Trivia

• In an official Fireman Sam YouTube video short, "Mandy the Mechanic | Learn About Jobs #4", Nurse Flood's car was damaged and caught fire after Joe Sparkes forgot to put the handbrake on when the car was on the car lift platform in his garage. This was likely the reason as to why Helen is now part of the Pontypandy Fire Service as a volunteer Search and Rescue Medic since Alien Alert.
• The single beacon is green, but sometimes it flashes blue.
