- Most of the songs were reused for Fireman Sam in Action, apart from Bella and Her Cat Rosa, Dilys Always Knows and The Man Who Drives the Pontypandy Bus.
- This soundtrack used the same name as the 1992 stage show Fireman Sam Ready for Action.
- A little note about this release was written inside the VHS cover of Fireman Sam in Action, saying that it was available on Sony Wonder Records.
