Trivia[]

  • This is the final Fireman Sam video release to be released by BBC Video, This is due to S4C selling half a share in Fireman Sam to Gullane Entertainment in December 2001, Had Gullane continued operations, VCI would have begun releasing all subsequent Fireman Sam videos, but in July 2002, Gullane was acquired by HIT Entertainment for £139 million and thus HIT began self-releasing all subsequent Fireman Sam videos beginning with Fireman Sam: Action Stations! in 2004.
  • Early copies of Fireman Sam's Biggest Video Ever! contain a 2000 print date on the bottom of the video tape cassette and the start of the video tape master itself, although the copyright stamp on the closing version of the 1997-2009 BBC Video Ident says 2001.
  • It potentially suggests this Fireman Sam video release was originally scheduled to have been released in 2000, but was delayed to 2001 for unknown reasons.
