Alien Alert (also known as Alien Alert: The Movie) is a feature-length special. It was released in Australia on 5th October 2016, was released in the UK cinema on 17th June 2017, was released on DVD in the UK on 2nd October, was released in South Korea at cinema on 8th November 2018 and was released on 10th April 2019 on DVD in South Korea. It takes place between Series 10 and Series 11.
Plot
Pontypandy is hit by a raft of UFO sightings and Fireman Sam is determined to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Goofs
- Sarah refers to her Uncle Sam as "Fireman Sam" at one point, but corrects herself later on.
- In the scene where Sam is riding Mercury to the Ocean Rescue Centre with Venus, you can see that the Series 5-Heroes of the Storm fire service logo is on Mercury’s riding helmet instead of the series 10-onwards fire service logo.
