David Tennant (born David John McDonald in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, UK, April 18th, 1971) is a British actor who has performed in all three main forms of entertainment (stage, screen and radio). He is best known for his Shakespearian work on stage and for playing the Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors in the BBC's long-running sci-fi series "Doctor Who". He also played Buck Douglas in Alien Alert. Buck’s appearance and costume is heavily modelled around him, and references his role as the Doctor.
