Cat Magic is the tenth episode of the sixth season. It was written by Andrew Brenner.
Plot[]
Bronwyn takes Sarah and James to the woods to make wishes at a wishing well. Their cat, Lion, secretly follows them, but nobody notices as the family focuses on making wishes. Lion, while hunting a bird, accidentally falls into the well, and nobody realizes he is trapped. After making their wishes, Fireman Sam arrives to put out a small fire, and James gets a ride back in the fire engine, believing his wish came true.
The next day, a worried Sarah returns to the wishing well to look for her missing cat. She discovers Lion's blanket and hears his cries, realizing he's stuck at the bottom of the well. The Fire Service and Mountain Rescue are called to the scene to assist. Using a winch system, Penny is lowered into the well to rescue Lion, who is then successfully pulled to safety, dried off, and returned to his relieved owners.

Trivia[]
- This episode along with Pontypandy Extreme are the only two CGI episodes where a victim gets stuck down the well.
- Sarah and James perviously encountered a wishing well in the second series episode, The Wishing Well. However, in The Wishing Well, Sarah claims that you are not supposed to wish out loud to Elvis, but in this episode, Bronwyn, Sarah and James all wish out loud.
Goofs[]
- At one point Sarah refers to Sam as Fireman Sam instead of Uncle Sam.
- When Sam and Penny go off in Jupiter, they pick up their helmets. In the overview when they drive off, the helmets are back on the ledge where they normally sit. The helmets they wear also turn white and are missing the fire service logo on them. This also applies when Penny enters into Jupiter. What's more the hose outlets in Jupiter is open when there is no fire.
