Plot[]
Norman Price decides to go mussel collecting with his family members Charlie, Sarah, and James. Driven by his competitive spirit to gather the most mussels, he recklessly wanders away from the group and goes off searching on his own. His quest for more mussels leads to a mishap when he accidentally gets his foot firmly wedged between two large rocks, trapping him.
Concurrently, back at the Pontypandy fire station, Elvis Cridlington is enthusiastic about the arrival of a new piece of rescue equipment: the "Jaws of Life". He is eager to use the sophisticated tool for any emergency the team encounters. His eagerness is evident when he attempts to use the Jaws of Life for minor incidents, such as trying to free Lion the cat from a tree, much to the amusement or frustration of the other firefighters.
The episode reaches its climax when the Pontypandy Fire Service receives a distress call about a boy trapped on the shore. Rushing to the scene, they discover that the person in trouble is none other than Norman Price, still stuck between the rocks. This serious situation finally provides Elvis with the perfect opportunity to use the new Jaws of Life for a genuine emergency, successfully freeing Norman's foot and ensuring his safety..
