In line with similar edits of Thomas characters I made years ago - James and Philip with the flag and Jeremy in El Al livery - I wanted to see how the vehicles from the (original) Fireman Sam series could've looked if Hop! had the technology to localise the footage; without having to reshoot the series. While I have seen North American-style fan art and an edit of Season 5 Jupiter to look more realistic, I haven't seen anything like this before. Full list of changes:
Blue lights recoloured red
Bell on Jupiter replaced with second beacon
Mirrored both shots so Sam and Penny would be on the right
Pontypandy Fire Service emblem replaced with Israeli Fire and Rescue emblem (pre-2017)
Added "כבאות והצלה" ("Fire and Rescue") text above locker doors, with "כבאות והצלה לפונטיפנדי" ("Pontypandy Fire and Rescue") on Jupiter and the station sign
License plates recoloured yellow and translated as "י 102" - Yud 102 (J 999) and "ו 201" - Vav 201 (V 666)
Jupiter's bumper recoloured black to resemble most local fire vehicles at the time; excluding E-One units, which did have chrome silver bumpers
I don't plan to edit the S5+ designs or have Trevor work for Egged (or similar).

Here’s a colouring page of Dilys Price from series 5 along with a colour version.
Sorry if the colours may not be close to the 2d art style.

Here i try to make a clear promo background of Pontypandy Fire Station, like how it was shown in the books and the stage show poster.
I try to make the road like in the show, but I'm not sure if it looks right, but i gave it a shot.
Here’s a version on the same picture, but with the garage doors open and with Jupiter showing.
I hope you like them all.
I making a scene where Venus throwed temper tantrum
(episode titled goes by: Jupiter's favorite toy) (Written by The Lothian Buses Hub) (Animated By ElaHatcher))

Would it be before or after the bridge in the high street?
It might be a tip from the look of the tires that are there

Guys, I was wondering if I can talk to you all about two things.
I was watching Classic Fireman Sam and two things got me thinking.
1.
When Jupiter goes off to an emergency…
Would Jupiter have to go pass here…
Or is there a road between there and the bridge?
2.
When Sam walks to the fire station…
How did he get from his house to…
Walking under the bridge to Dilys’ shop?
If anyone can help answer these questions, please let me know.
I completed a drawing of PC Malcolm with his Police Uniform in the style of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Malcolm had worked with the Metropolitan Police as a patrol officer and a part of MO19/SCO19 before moving to Pontypandy.
Currently in progress, I am working on Station Officer Steele with his CFD Style Uniform and Sergeant Ravani with her Chicago PD Style Uniform.
Something I've been thinking for a while, in the original series (only), the background of the fire station has the a lot of buildings and a church behind it. This implies that the fire station is below the main village. However, in S4 E6 "What goes up", Trevor and the balloon float down / left in front of the fire station to the main village; and it is mentioned in books that the fire station "overlooks" the village, implying that the station is above the village. I'm thinking that the buildings in the background of the fire station are a different part of the village, and never shown on screen. But what are your thoughts?
HEY EVERYONE!
Today I wanted to show you all something I've been working on.
Someday in the future, I'm gonna be working on a project that is connected to both the original series of Fireman Sam and Pontypandy.
But if I want to work on this project, I would need to know about all the locations from series 1 to series 4.
So with a bit of help from the Lucky Tug, when he did the Official Sodor TV map. I did my best to count every location and set from the original series.
Three things before I continue.
I made sure to count the locations only once, so after series 1 it's only the new locations that has appeared in that series.
If you see any photos of sets that maybe connected to a previous set, I'll try my best to explain about it.
Not all locations would be feature into this, since some of them would be non definitive to pinpoint their location.
In Series 1, there was 40 sets, or ever 39 if you don't count the road Trevor's bus goes down in Norman's Tricky day. I added to the list since the vehicles can do along that road.
Now I know the photo of the Fire Station is from series 3, but I needed a photo of the station at the angle to see the whole layout.
In Series 2, there were 15 sets. I didn't count the frozen pound from snow business, since it was the same pound Norman went fishing.
In Series 3, there were 13 sets. in Dilys' Forgetful Day, Venus is shown at the back of the station, so there must be a entrance for the fire engines to get to the back of the station for training exercise.
Now finally. In Series 4, there were 14 sets. now I believe that the Bingles Department Store in Cardiff would be same for the Bingles up in Newtown, as Dilys mention the shops name in Quarry Rescue.
Now for the location where Trevor had his Bus Boot sale, I believe that the area might be located in the park. if so, then where would have to be somewhere for the vehicles to get into the park.
With that, all the sets add up to, 82 Locations that was used from Series 1 to series 4 of Fireman Sam
Now to point out I didn't add the old coal mind on to the list, since it was underground.
Hopefully with this big of information, I would be able to do my Pontypandy Project.
If anyone would like to suer these for any fireman Sam related projects on the locations, your welcome to use them, just give credit to who made them.
If there's something you like to talk about this project or the locations, leave it in the comments below.
I have a few drawings I made during the Holidays. I worked on Penny at the Fire Station and Ellie outside her office. For Penny, I put my version of Jupiter at the Fire Station as a background and for Ellie, she has a new office which in my A.U. (Alternative Universe)... She is working for the Fire Service and NHS Wales. The door to her office reads "Dr. Ellie Phillips M.D." and below that, it reads "Fire Service GP/Paediatrics" that means Ellie is managing the health of the Firefighters and is also a licensed doctor in Paediatrics.
Here’s a colouring picture of series 5 Pontypandy fire station.
Here’s a colouring picture, based on a series 5 puzzle.
And here’s a recreate of a dot to dot puzzle from one of the Fireman Sam Actually books, based on this one.
And here a colouring picture version of the dot to dot picture.
Hey everyone, I wanted to talk to you about a old fireman Sam merchandise.
Now, remember seeing this photo from the Hornby set on eBay, well this was from a different thing and not the Hornby set.
Now some on you may know what this is from, but for some of you who never seen these before, they were from this.
The Fireman Sam Press-out model book.
Its was published by Heinemann Young Books (10 Oct. 1988) and it was made by Dave Browning and Mick Davison.
It was 12 pages long, now let me tell you about the main thing of this.
You could make a model of the Pondypandy Fire Station, Jupiter, Trevor’s bus and some of the people from Pontypandy.
You can play with it once you put it together.
I once got my hands on this and put it together.
To the once who’s seeing this for the first time, I hope you all like it.
Hey guys, I wanted to talk about your future idea I wanted to plan on for my Fireman Sam redesign series.
Someday, I wanna try and design my own map of my take on PontyPandy.
But I wanted to ask you all, the fans for some help on it. Now there has been two versions of Pontypandy, the first in the valley and the second by the sea.
Now I want my Pontypandy to be a mix of both versions. With Charlie and Bronwyn still being in the fish business, Penny living in her cottage, Bella still running he café, the floods living in the floods house, Sam still living at 3 Vale Road, joe sparks still running the garage, Trevor still having his allotment, Tom at the mountain rescue Center, moose at the mountain activity Center, still having the Newtown road and the bridge still between Dilys shop and Bella’s café.
Im just not sure how to lay it all out.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know, in the comments down below.
Laddies and gentlemen, boys and girls as you know, I been working on designing my version of the characters and vehicles from Fireman Sam, making it into my own redesign Fireman Sam series.
So for today, I would like to show you all…
My redesign of Pontypandy Fire station.
First I would like to say thanks to all of you who voted for this design.
The design for the Fire station is based on the series 1 to 5 fire station, but with an up stairs floor, like series 6 to onward.
As you look at my take on the Fire station, you may find some small references connected to the previous stations from the show or the books.
I would like to point out that I added a Pontypandy fire brigade sign, like the one from series 1 to 4.
First let me show you the ground floor.
I add Station Officer Steele’s Officer at the back of the station, connecting to the original office, but modern.
I added the storage room at the back of the station, while connecting a fire exit to the garage.
I give Jupiter her turntable that we see in the modern series along with 2 poles for the fire fighters to slide down.
For the first floor, I added a sitting area, a kitchen, a wash room, a gym, a bed room and a Balcony.
I added a big garbage box on the balcony, so the fire fighters can grow their own fruit and vegetables. I add an extra bed, in case a recruit from Newtown comes to stay at the station for the night.
I added the chalkboard in the conference room.
There are spots for Radar to sleep, eat and drink.
In the gym, I added one of Sam’s invitations, the Jogalator.
Now to point out, you may have noticed the Alarm in the kitchen is different from the others, well that’s not a mistake.
All the alarms are in the spot like series 5 to onward, but I wanted to put one alarm in the spot like how it was in series 1 to 4. I even came up with a backstory for it.
The idea is that Elvis bump into the wall that alarm was on and it got knock out of its position, but ever since then, the crew kept that alarm like that ever since then.
So after the whole tour, what do you think of the new Pontypandy Fire Station?
I try not to make it as big as the series 10’s fire station, but I wanted to have a classic look of the original station from series 1 to 9.
