I used to have a VHS called 'Postman Pat and the Hole in the Road' that featured this advert inside. I was always intrigued by the Fireman Sam in Action video being advertised and what a live action Fireman Sam would be like.

Later, when I was around 4 or 5, I did see Fireman Sam in Action just once for sale in Toys R Us, I begged my parents to buy it me, but they didn't look impressed by it and felt it wouldn't be as good as the actual Bumper Films show so I didn't actually see the VHS until it was uploaded on Youtube around 2010 time.

In hindsight, I do like some parts of Fireman Sam in Action, but I don't think it's as good as the actual original TV Show

I remember first seeing this vhs ad inside a copy of the greatest BBC children’s video ever! Vhs.

Interesting there, I saw this ad was also shown in a Fireman Sam 2 on 1 VHS.

I know how you feel, I was surprised and interested when I saw the covers picture. Since at the time, i didn’t know they did Fireman Sam stage shows based on the original series.

I understand your opinion, i like it when i first saw it and if only i knew. I would later find out about the other stage shows, including the one that would turn out to be Fireman Sam in action in 1995. One year before the vhs was made.

Yes, I would've liked to have seen the earlier 1990 and 1992 shows too.

I watched Fireman Sam in Action on YouTube because I don't have the VHS yet @Fireman Fan 152 Also @Bumper Films Fan 93 I have Postman Pat hole in the road VHS and that video to introduce episodes from the second season in 1996 before they were broadcast on television in 1997.

Yeah. If only we could have talk to one of the actors who played in the shows back in 1990, 1992 and 1995. I remember seeing Postman Pat’s actor Roger had some VHS tape of his Postman Pat show. Maybe some of the cast of Fireman Sam has some tapes of the shows.

If only we could find out.
